Is There a Secret Formula to Success? Insights from Sandi Lea's Journey

What makes you a "Divine Woman in Business? ✨What is your story?

I've been running my own business since the age of 18. I've always been very motivated to work for myself and make a name for myself in business.

Having lived & traveled all over the world, I knew I wanted that flexibility to work for myself, so I could travel where and when I wanted, so I made this a reality from a young age.

"What is a story of strength, survival or hardship you have overcome and what did that teach you?

Starting your own company at the age of 18, you get a lot of pushback because of your "age"..."you don't have the experience to run these campaigns", I've found that you just need to persevere & be okay with being told no, or a closed door in your face, some people will like you, some won't and that's ok.

I'm now 15 years down the line for my first company, a promotions company in South Africa, and I'm proud to say it is still going strong, we have some amazing big-name clients we work with and have for a few years!

I also have my newest company (started during COVID times) which is now nearly 4 years ago! Wow crazy it's already been nearly 4 years since the start of covid...

This is a Virtual Assistant agency, what COVID taught most of the world is that you can work remotely, you don't need to be in an office with a 9-5 to be successful and for your business to do well, and that's where my team and I step in.

We help busy entrepreneurs gain time back in their busy schedules with doing the things they don't need to be focusing on, such as "email & travel management, or social media management", or building their dream website or app.

"What advice would you give to other women to succeed as "Divine Women" in their lives?"

1. Work hard & don't let one "no" derail you. There will always be someone who doesn't gel with you, and that's ok, move on and prove them wrong.

2. Always keep learning & growing, see what the industry leaders in your industry do, and whilst not copying, see what works, and what doesnt, learn from them.

3. It's ok to have bad days, have it, then pick yourself up and keep going. We all have bad days, and it's ok, it happens being a business owner. It's hard.- Sandi Lea ✨✨
