What makes you a "Divine Woman in Business? ✨What is your story?

If I could put a title to what kind of Divine Woman in Business I am, it would be The Calculated Hustler.

As a proud first-generation American, I’m not just chasing the American Dream but actively building it.

My journey is driven by purpose, resilience, and a clear-eyed understanding of what’s at stake.

The “calculated” part? That comes from knowing there’s no safety net if I stumble. Failure isn’t an option, so I started by laying a strong foundation. My first years in the workforce were spent in a stable, enriching job, surrounded by brilliant, creative minds who inspired me to push boundaries, think bigger, and learn constantly. And lucky for me, I still work alongside many of those mentors and peers today, as I take a measured leap into the world of entrepreneurship.

I’m not about reckless risks or an all-or-nothing gamble. Instead, I’ve embraced a steady, strategic

approach. While I love my full-time role in advertising—a career that challenges and fulfills me—I’ve

created a second full-time job: working nights and weekends to bring my entrepreneurial vision to life. It’s a demanding dual path, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

No one asked me to take on this workload. No one handed me a blueprint for success. But here I am,

pouring every ounce of passion, skill, and grit into building a brighter future—not just for myself, but for the community I serve. The hustle isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. Because at the end of the day, I know the impact I’m working toward is bigger than me.

This is my story—a story of ambition, balance, and unrelenting drive. It’s about proving that with

determination and strategy, dreams aren’t just achievable—they’re inevitable.

"What is a story of strength, survival or hardship you have overcome and what did that teach you?

I grew up deeply inspired by my parents’ resilience and unwavering work ethic. I am the first in my family

to graduate from college—a milestone that reflects not only my dedication but the sacrifices they made to provide me with opportunities they could only dream of. My parents taught me to work harder than the person next to me, to stay humble, and to keep my focus on family. They built a foundation of love,

stability, and perseverance, and for that, I am endlessly grateful.

Yet, I always felt a fire burning within me—a desire to do more, to be more, and to create change that

extended beyond my family. I knew I didn’t have the luxury of a safety net. Paying for college was my

responsibility, and with that came a no-nonsense approach: graduate, get a job, and make it a good one.

So, I got a job in New York City diving headfirst into the fast-paced world of advertising. I couldn't afford to live there, so I endured a 2-hour, each-way, commute for over a year until I could. I climbed the corporate ladder with relentless determination, lived frugally, freelanced on the side, and found creative ways to stretch my income. NYC is a tough city, and whether it was for happy hour with friends or just making rent, I hustled tirelessly.

Friends often praised my career progress, and I’d humbly dismiss it, chalking it up to “luck.” One day, the man I was dating stopped me mid-sentence to say, “Luck’s got nothing to do with your success. It’s your hard work that got you where you are. You earned it.” Those words have stayed with me, serving as a reminder that my accomplishments were built on grit, not chance. I'm now happily married to that man.

But the journey didn’t stop there. My parents’ immigrant mindset encouraged stability and pragmatism:

*“You’ve got a good job. Why risk it?”* And yet, I couldn’t silence the call of my own American Dream. For my parents, the dream was being in America—raising a family with health, stability, and happiness.

For me, it’s about embracing the hard road of entrepreneurship, turning passion into purpose, and helping as many people as possible in a way that I am uniquely qualified to do. It started as just graphic design, helping one nonprofit at a time, but has slowly grown into helping many organizations find their voice, share their story, and help more people. I like to think of my service as a domino effect; by helping a nonprofit’s visual identity, I pave the path for them to help many.

Every step I’ve taken—from the corporate climb to launching my own business—has been fueled by the

values my parents instilled in me and my vision to leave a lasting impact.

My story is proof that with hard work, resilience, and a bold spirit, we can honor where we come from while boldly creating the future we envision.

"What advice would you give to other women to succeed as "Divine Women" in their lives?"

Believe in yourself, BUT stay grounded in reality.

Believing in yourself is essential, but it’s equally important to acknowledge the realities of life.

Circumstances matter. For example, no amount of self-confidence can pay the bills during an unexpected global crisis like a pandemic. That’s why entrepreneurship requires more than just belief—it demands hard work, resilience, and preparation.

If you’re not willing to put in the effort, entrepreneurship might not be the right path for you. Relying solely on your network or connections can also be risky—they may not always come through. Ultimately, you must hold yourself accountable to make your dreams a reality.

Save diligently, invest wisely, and work hard to build a solid foundation. Financial stability isn’t just a safety net; it’s a springboard that allows you to pursue your goals with less stress and greater focus. By preparing for the unexpected and committing to your vision, you can create a future where your dreams are not just possible, but sustainable.
